Winery Style Shoot | Vowel Renewal

Y'all! This was our very first style shoot as Lovegood Wedding & Event Rentals. I sat with Sarah from Sarah + Paul Photography and Morgan King from Morgan King Makeup at Barnes & Noble in Destin, Florida, and when we started chatting about life and business I shared my secret dream to own a specially rental company.

This shoot was featured on Floridan Social and here are some words from them about the shoot!

Florida is one of those states that seems to have just about everything: beaches, countryside, downtowns, and even vineyards. This happy, beautiful couple re-eloped, in full wedding gear, to the Chautauqua Winery in Defuniak Springs and toasted over vino, cheese and cake, of course!

Wearing a bridal gown for this elopement was important to Erin since she never wore one when she and Nick eloped the first time. Her look is classic with a touch of vintage in that ruby red lip. And her beau looks utterly dashing in pinstripes and dots! That bowtie has a story all on its own, too.

The bowtie was made locally by The Good South! It's a Southern lifestyle clothing brand and all their products are handmade in the South. Furthermore, a portion from purchaseS goes to their Scholarship Fund which helps students further their education. Love it all, especially that we get a sneak peek of what's to come with this adorable brand.

The two strolled around the vineyard until they found the perfect spot to renew their vows. They each had prepared a few words to share with one another and the whole experience looks so sweet and touching. There's nothing like seeing the one you love all decked out to the nines and hearing their sweet words to you. Sigh.

Being at a winery, it was only fitting to incorporate wine into their little ceremony. Similar to a unity candle, Erin and Nick chose two different, yet, compatible wines and poured them into a carafe which created a perfect blend. Just like the two of them. Loving the symbolism here and how appropriate a ritual like this is for the setting.

As you can see, the theme for Erin and Nick's elopement-turned-inspiration shoot was focused around the vineyard's gorgeous landscapes with touches of romantic vintage and rustic details. Lovegood sourced a few rich wooden pieces and accented them with bits of warm gold and antique glass. There's nothing that pairs better with wine than decadent cheeses, fresh grapes and cake! What a perfect celebratory picnic.
