Lauren at Lovegood, here! Today we are bringing you this precious shower at Loungue Vue House and Gardens, located in New Orleans. We loved partnering up with Z Events, Urban Earth, and Lance Nicoll Photography for this beautiful day celebrating our bride, Libby. We did a little Q&A with the ladies of Z Events about this lovely shower!
Bamboo Bike made a statement when guest first arrived to this spring shower!
We provided the bamboo bike, Classic Farm Tables, Glass Goblets, and Merchant's cart!

Tell us about the design for this event.
We carefully selected items to reflect the brides style. It was important to incorporate French blues and the garden party theme.
The white high peak tent was aesthetically pleasing and functional to create a cool breeze and shade guests from the sun.
We brought in bentwood chairs, farm tables and vintage accents to deliver a welcoming feel.
Shades of blue were incorporated in the Sky Lisbon table runners from Nuage and the beautiful florals by Urban Earth.
Favorite detail of the bridal shower was: The custom cookie place cards, bamboo bicycle and vintage bar cart were favorites among the guests.
What was your most memorable moment about the shower? The brides face when she walked onto the lawn at Longue Vue. Her pure joy and happiness was contagious!
What was the most important part of this shower to the client?
The bride really wanted to bring in her favorite color - French Blue.
She wanted a fun, relaxing day with her closest friends and family to kick off the wedding weekend.
Her light hearted, fun spirit was authentically shown through the garden party theme, which we carried throughout the wedding weekend.
What advice do you have for folks currently planning a shower?
We recommend experimenting with your fun and playful side.
Your bridal/bridesmaid shower is the perfect opportunity to express yourself. It's all about celebrating you and your closest friends and family.
Don't shy away from a theme, it can be literal or vague but it really brings the look and feel of an event together.
